Can I use the Teal Wand if I am on a care plan that involves screening more often, every 6 months to a year?

If you are on a care plan that involves screening for cervical cancer more frequently than the typical 3-5 years, for example, every 6 months to a year, we recommend that you discuss this with your Teal medical provider during your Intro Visit or by messaging a provider using this secure form. The information provided by this product should not be used to stop or change any ongoing course of treatment unless advised by your healthcare provider.

You may still be able to screen with Teal, but it is important that you let your Teal provider know about your prior screening results and current care plan via your screening history form and during your Intro Visit. That way, you and your Teal provider can work together to decide which screening option is best for you, to make sure you stay healthy.
