According to [current medical practice](https://journals.lww.com/jlgtd/fulltext/2025/04000/self_collected_vaginal_specimens_for_hpv_testing_.6.aspx), if you have had a LEEP or cold knife procedure for moderate to severe precancerous changes (HSIL, CIN2, CIN3, atypical glandular cells) **in the past 25 years**, it is recommended that you continue with in-clinic cervical cancer screenings as recommended by your provider. If it has been more than 25 years since you had a LEEP or cold knife procedure, you can screen with Teal. But please make sure to let your Teal provider know about your prior cervical cancer screening results and relevant procedures in your screening history form and during your Intro Visit.
