Can I use the Teal Wand if I recently used vaginal products?

No. Do not use vaginal products for at least 48 hours before using the Teal Wand (or 1 week in some cases). Testing conducted by the HPV test manufacturer established that use of the following over-the-counter products may interfere with the test and produce false negative results:

  • Metronidazole Vaginal Gel (Antibacterial medication) – please wait 1 week to test after use
  • RepHresh™ Odor Eliminating Vaginal Gel
  • RepHresh™ Clean Balance™ Feminine Freshness Kit
  • Replens™ Long-Lasting Vaginal Moisturizer
  • Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Dry Spray
