Teal Wands have an expiration date. The expiration is the last day of the month for which it is labeled after the hourglass 
. For example, if it is labeled to expire 2026-06, the last day the laboratory can receive a sample is June 30, 2026. Please factor in 5-7 days of mailing time to ensure that your sample arrives in time.
Teal Health will notify you in advance of this kit expiration to encourage you to collect your sample and offer you any assistance you need.
If you do not collect and mail your sample before the Teal Wand expires, your sample cannot be processed by the lab and you will not get a screening result.
If there is a reason you cannot collect your sample before the Teal Wand expires, you must contact customer service at help@tealhealth.co to determine if you qualify for a replacement kit and what associated fee and medical updates might be needed before a replacement kit is shipped to you.
